Suzan Kostiuck
"Sometimes the lines I draw behind my eyes fold up and become a thumprint, falling like the rain."
As a formally trained artist, I've enjoyed the luxury of appreciation of the arts throughout my life. The written word, performances, culinary and music are just a few that I have been blessed to cruise around in to enjoy. However, my greatest enjoyment has been the visual arts. Being able to immerse myself into my creations where the hours pass by unnoticed is something that I absolutely love and crave.
Our world around us is highly visible, and inspiration is both overwhelming and humbling. I am exposed to artwork by other artists on a daily basis, which is challenging and pushes me to find my own path. I also come from a rural area with a beautifully eclectic family, which offers me a reminder of how simple life really is.
