24" x 36", acrylik on canvas $1000

This painting was created using a new "acrylik" paint - a plastic free acrylic by Natural Earth Paint.  The painting is a visualization of how our cells are composed of we are made of spacedust (essentially), our ancestors, and our future. Women's bodies hold the future the moment the woman is still in her mother's womb as a female child is created with all the eggs her body needs, which I still find wonderfully complex and intentional. By painting this piece with plant-based polymers, it also brings up the fact that plastics are being found in placenta.

"REsilience"

approx 4' x 5', acrylic on canvas $1500

"Resilience" is an exploration of the strength of First Nations members in Canada.  I wanted to capture both darkness and light in this painting. Twisting, turning, coming, going...we are still here!

8" x 10" ink on canvas board (sold)

Sometimes I look around and feel like I am surrounded by an array of unseen natural beauty.  This is a study for a larger painting in progress.

"My Sunshine"

5" x 7" ink on board (sold)

Being a parent of two has been the most amazing and fulfilling experiences of my life. This small drawing was inspired by my son, who has a mind that can see things that mine simply can't.

"Spirit Sisters"

acrylic on canvas, 8" x 10" (private collection)

This piece was the beginning of an exploration of the absolute fuckups of Canadian history and how indigenous women in Canada are continuously mistreated today.

"untitled"

acrylic on canvas, 18" x 24"(sold)

Several years ago I was able to do a workshop with Crystal Charlotte Easton, and this painting was a result of her inspirational teachings.

"Gathering"

"Gathering"

acrylic and beadwork on moosehide, 12" x 14" (sold)

This multimedia piece was inspired by my love of the vessel form and also by my experience as a henna artist in my college days.
